Montana Mindfulness Project is a non-profit organization teaching mindfulness to youth and young adults in the Gallatin Valley. Their programs, which can be weekly or in workshops, teach skills that foster confidence, resilience, and well-being. They work with administrators, teachers, and guidance counselors to integrate their lessons into pre-existing schedules and curricula in a way that is conducive to the overall learning environment. Their programs implement research-backed, trauma-informed curricula, with a focus on both individual and systemic change. Courtnay will introduce the mission of the Montana Mindfulness Project and how they share that mission with children, families, and organizations in the Gallatin Valley and beyond. Our President-Elect, Paddy Stoy, recently went to the Rotary International Convention is Singapore! At an international convention you truly get to experience Rotary's impact around the world and get to learn from such diverse clubs. It truly is an amazing experience.
