Rotary fellowships are groups that share a common passion. Being a part of a fellowship is a fun way to extend the fun of Rotary outside of our regularly scheduled meetings. Nancy and Bill MacBride have started an Opera fellowship. Join us at the movie theater for the HD showing of Nabucco on Jan 6 and Carmen on Jan 27th. Both are at 10:55AM. If interested in joining, contact Nancy MacBride via phone or email.

Be on the look out for a new Rotaract info board at each Rotary meeting! Pick up a card for a way to help Rotaract.
Send a friend! Do you have employees, co-workers, friends, kids or kids' friends that would be interested? Make sure you know when the next awesome Rotaract event is and send a friend! Hint: Rotaract Meet & Greet event on February 15th - the season of love is for Rotaract too!
Hang a poster. Each Friday, we'll have a stack of posters of relevant Rotaract events - please hang one at your place of business, or keep a couple in your car for when you see a community board.

-Bulletin is Movin' on Up!-
No, Katie Capp did not sleep through her Rotary eBulletin alarm. The bulletin will now be coming out on Wednesdays to better accommodate updates from the board which meets on the second Tuesday of every month. Why not send it out on Tuesday of some weeks and then on Wednesday after the board meeting? Answer: Consistency.
If you wish to preview upcoming speakers and projects you can access our website 24/7 **HERE** and the event calendar **HERE**. Feel free to give those pages an ol' bookmark for quick access.
Your smile at the door and your inspiring words are appreciated!

Rotary is known for its flagship service projects, such as End Polio, but Rotary clubs across the global can spring into action in times of need. In the mountains of Poland, 26 children traumatized by violence got a chance to be kids again at Rotary camp where psychologists mixed escape and therapy. This two week respite was organized by Rotarians with the purpose of helping children heal and cope with the trauma they have encountered and may encounter when they go home. I highly recommend reading this moving story about how Rotarians are helping children affected by the war in Ukraine HERE.
Speaking of local clubs responding to local needs...How many pounds of fresh vegetables do you think one U.S. club donated in the past year after noticing local farms have to dump misshaped/blemished food?
Answer: _____ (find out next week + a lil related tidbit)
