-RSVP for Pack the Sack Next Tues 4/9 + MAP Brewing-
Here’s an opportunity for community service AND Rotary socializing. We will fill KidsPacks starting at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, April 9 at HRDC (206 E Griffin Bozeman, MT 59715). Kidspacks are bags of nutritious food that go to students who may be experiencing food insecurity over the weekends. HRDC delivers them every Friday to schools throughout Madison, Jefferson and Gallatin counties. When we’re done packing (around 6:00 pm), those of us so inclined will migrate to MAP Brewery for casual food and drinks, the cost of which is borne by each attendee.
Check out a KBZK feature that shows what this service event entails *HERE*. Katie Capp has done this many times, basically you walk in a line and toss stuff in a plastic bag and tie it at the end of the line and repeat until all food items are packed.

A 2017 study revealed, a substantial portion of the plastic that ends up in oceans travels there via rivers — up to 3 million tons annually. Check out the article HERE on a Rotary call to local action in regards to plastic pollution. So next time you're casting the dry fly, think of how you can be part of reducing plastic waste in our rivers.
