Rotary International’s 2026-27 theme, Creating Lasting Impact, means different things to everyone, but for me, it begins with integrating service and intentional kindness into everyday life.
Creating real impact, like the enduring legacy of ancient Rome, doesn't mean avoiding change or difficulty; it means embracing hard conversations, learning from challenges, and thoughtfully reassessing long-held traditions.
Growth happens when we navigate both the good and the bad together. As we begin this Rotary year, I invite each of you to reflect on our work and ask: Are we creating the lasting impact you truly want to see in our club and community? What lasting impact does our community need? I look forward to leading, serving and together, building a better future for the generations to come.
