Lauren and Logan Burgess - Founders and Owners of Caldera Cacao
Caldera Cacao Roasters is a local cacao bean roaster that buys raw cacao from Central and South America. They roast the beans to make dark chocolate. They make chocolate using the same basic steps used around the world since at least 1847. As their name suggests, they love roasting raw cacao and making tasty things. Their focus is two-ingredient dark chocolate and dark chocolate that includes delicious local inclusions. As part of their work, they want to have a positive impact on the communities and ecosystems that grow specialty cacao.

Environmental Action of the Week!
Tip #3
Wash laundry in cold water
Cold works for most loads.
If 50 households switched most loads to cold, it would save roughly 12,000–15,000 kWh per year.
