-Jason Smith-

This March 8th at Eagle Mount and Zoom

Nearly 30 years into the safest career path possible, and still in the midst of a global pandemic, Jason Smith made a radical decision to change course, to begin a gradual transition away from his stable executive leadership role and to lay the groundwork for a new boutique consulting practice. What could possibly have motivated this major pivot, and how did he adapt when initial business came his way far faster than he had planned or ever imagined? In his time with us, Jason will reflect on what inspired him to take the risk of starting his own business, how he’s been able to “hang on for the ride,” and what he’s learned over the past two years as a reluctant entrepreneur.

See you Friday March 8th at 6:45am in-person and on Zoom.

Thanks for Reading! Have a Great Week!

Now for some Rotary Trivia:
  • Answer from Last Week:
  • The Rotary Foundation has spent $9.5 million to grow local economies and reduce poverty in the last year. A large portion of that is through microloans. In Esmeraldas, Ecuador, Rotary members helped grant more than 250 microloans and train more than 270 community members in sewing, baking, plumbing, microcredit, business management, and leadership. In rural Guatemala, most of the women do not have the collateral to get loans from regulated financial institutions. The Rotary Club of Guatemala de la Ermita helped 400 local women complete financial literacy courses so they could pool their money and fund their own microlending program. For more information and more detailed examples on Growing Local Economies **CLICK HERE**
  • Did you know a major cause Rotary supports is Protecting the Environment? So, how does Rotary contribute to this cause?

  • Answer: _____ (find out next week + a lil related tidbit)
