Our communities are more livable and enjoyable when we have safe options to get from point A to point B. Working in the field of active transportation planning is both challenging and rewarding simultaneously and allows people like me (Planners, Engineers and advocates for enhanced mobility) to help design our communities to be accessible, resilient and navigable. This talk will just brush the surface of explaining what transportation demand management is, how we can work towards safe streets for all and how we can enhance mobility options in our community for everyone
