Last week, we had a very special guest, Tanya Luckenbill, speak to us about the situation in Ukraine. Tanya is a Ukrainian native, US State Department contractor, and Helena resident. In a heartfelt response, Sunrise Rotarians pledged more than $10,000 for the Rotary Foundation's Disaster Relief Fund to directly support Ukrainian relief efforts. Rotary International | Response to the Crisis in Ukraine | How You Can Help!
In response to the deepening humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, The Rotary Foundation has created an official channel for Rotary members around the world to contribute funds to support the relief efforts underway by Rotary districts and has designated its Disaster Response Fund as the main avenue for contributions. All funds need to be received into the Disaster Response Fund by 30 April 2022 to qualify for use in support of the Ukrainian relief efforts.*click here*
