-Jessica Ahlstrom-

City of Bozeman Water Conservation Program

This September 29th at Eagle Mount and Zoom

Bozeman is a fast-growing, drought-prone community facing numerous water supply constraints posed by its headwaters location in the Upper Missouri River Watershed, impacts of climate change on water supply yields, and challenging legal framework regarding new water right appropriations.  The City is prioritizing water conservation as a means to ensure that Bozeman has a reliable water supply available for the future.  Jessica Ahlstrom will be speaking about the City’s water supply challenges, drought risk, and water conservation program initiatives including educational resources, rebate incentives, drought management, conservation-based rate structures, and new development policies currently underway.

See you Friday September 29th at 6:45am in-person and on Zoom.

Now for some Rotary Trivia:
  • Answer from Last Week: Rotary’s motto is Service Above Self. But did you know that Rotary has a 2nd official motto? The 2nd official motto of Rotary is, “One Profits Most Who Serves Best.” And this motto actually served as the principle motto of Rotary until 1989. To find out more about these dual mottos, click here.
  • This week's Rotary Trivia Q: Take a guess...approximately how many volunteer hours do Rotarians (combined) log each year?
  • Answer: _____ (find out next week + a lil related tidbit)
